William Toothman Obituary, 81 Years Old William Toothman Has Sadly Passed Away – Death Cause
William Toothman Obituary, Death – William Blenn Toothman, who had lived a total of 81 years and was a resident of Metz, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, which is also located in the state of West Virginia. William Blenn Toothman had a total of 81 years of life. Our thoughts and prayers are with him as well as with his family and friends at this time.
Although his parents William Blenn Paul Toothman and Naomi Louise Thomas Toothman had both passed away before he was born, he was born in Metz on February 28, 1942 to his parents. His parents had both passed away before he was born. He was his parent’s only child and their son. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Diana Joyce Brummage Toothman, two sons, William “Bill” (Michelle) Toothman Jr, of Rivesville.
Timothy Todd (Kymberley) Toothman of Metz, a daughter Alice Louise (Timothy) Thompson of Carolina, five grandchildren, Jessica Renee Toothman, Corey Levi Toothman, Matthew Scott Hopwood, Kayley Grace Toothman, and Nate Toothman, two great-grandchildren Anakin Toothman and Adaline Toothman, a brother John Toothman Sr. of Ohio. William received his high school diploma from Mannington in 1961, the same year that he was a member of the school’s graduating class of that same year.
During the time that the Vietnam War was going on, he had served his country in the United States Air Force. His time in the military was spent in the air force. He had spent a significant portion of his working life in the coal sector, and he had only lately taken his retirement from the Federal #2 Mine, where he had been employed. Formerly, he had been employed at the JoAnn Mine located in Rachel.
Before then, he had been employed at that location. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and playing card games. In addition to being a member of the church, he was also a member of the Baptist Church in Rivesville, where the church was located. He counted among his favorite teams both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the West Virginia Mountaineers.
But he was more committed to the latter of the two (laughingly, he was NOT a fan of the Dallas Cowboys). Reading from the Bible was usually the first thing he did after getting up in the morning for him, and he never skipped that routine. He had a strong bond not only with his family but also with the people in his inner circle of friends.
