WILLIAM’S OBITUARY
On April 2, 2023.

William M. Merkle, a veteran of the United States who was originally from Williams Twp and had 89 years of age when he went away, passed away at his house. Both he and his wife, Beth D. (Bachman) Merkle, might be referred to as his wife. William Merkle was born on March 26, 1934 in Jersey City, New Jersey, to the late Albert Merkle and the late Alice (Powers) Merkle, his parents. Both of his parents have now passed away. During his tenure of service in the United States Army, which was characterized by a predominance of calm, he gave his all. Before William retired after a total of 40 years of service to UPS as a Tractor Trailer Driver, he held that position with the company. Regularly, he participates in the liturgical life of the St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church located in Riegelsville. William is very pleased with himself since he has planted several hundred trees on his land. This gives him a sense of accomplishment.
