Walter Sherry Obituary, At Age 86 Walter Sherry Has Passed Away – Death Cause

Walter Sherry Obituary, Death – Walter Paul Sherry, who had lived in the city of Hamilton all of his life and had reached the age of 86 when he passed away on April 3, 2023, did so in the comfort of his own house. This occurred on a Monday. Paul Sherry entered this world on April 2, 1937, in the town of New Cumberland, which is located in the state of West Virginia.

His parents, George and Anna Belle, were there to greet him as he made his entrance into the world. It was on April 7, 1961 that he tied the knot with Wanda Scott, the woman who would go on to become the love of his life. They were both smiling from ear to ear throughout the entire event. Paul was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army and served during his time with the division.

After spending a number of years in the steel industry at Steel Craft in Blue Ash, Ohio, he ultimately made the decision to retire earlier than was originally planned. Paul had a wide range of musical interests, including singing and playing a variety of instruments, such as the banjo, mandolin, and guitar. He also enjoyed listening to a wide range of musical genres.

It was impossible to avoid catching even a fraction of his contagious enthusiasm for skydiving. Paul was a devoted Christian who often participated in worship at the Westgate Church. You could find him there on Sunday mornings. Paul’s roles as a loving husband, father, and PapPap to his grandkids were the most important and fulfilling aspects of his life.

Wanda Sherry, his surviving spouse of 62 years, his daughter Dawn (Tyler) Fread, and his grandchildren Megan Schmale and Camron Paul (Madison) Roberts are the only members of Paul’s family to have survived his passing. Paul was the youngest of three children, and his parents as well as his two older siblings, Bob and Mary, had passed away before he was born. Paul was the only member of his family to survive after everyone else had died.

On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, commencing at 10:00 AM and lasting until 11:00 AM, there will be a visiting held at the Westgate Church of God in Oxford, Ohio, which is located at 6017 Gaston Lane. The visitation is planned to go until 11:00 AM. On April 11th, 2023, at eleven o’clock in the morning, funeral services will be held at the church, and Pastor Clarence Brannon will preside over the occasion.

There has been no decision made regarding the timing or date of the services as of yet. After the conclusion of the funeral, the body will be transported to the Millville Cemetery to be laid to rest. During the memorial service, attendees are asked not to send flowers but rather to give donations to the organization Disabled American Veterans in lieu of sending flowers.
