Tiffany Starkey Obituary, Death – An Anderson lady, age 38, has passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident that occurred on Friday. According to a message on Facebook that was posted by Tiffany Starkey’s husband, Robbie, she passed away on Saturday. He stated, “Today I lost my closest friend, my wife, and the love of my life all in one tragic accident.”
At around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Indiana State Police troopers were summoned to the scene of the accident, where they discovered a 2023 Ford Focus with damage to the front end as well as a 2020 Ford Transport van with damage to the front end and passenger side. Starkey was the one behind the wheel of the Focus.
“You will never be forgotten, and our love for you will never end. Your legacy will be carried on by our two lovely daughters. You had a good impact on the lives of so many people. Following a collision involving two vehicles that occurred on US Highway 35 just south of Mount Pleasant on Friday afternoon, she was taken to the hospital in a severe condition.
According to the police report, the driver of the van, identified as Tatyanna Myers, 24, who is from Lithonia, Georgia, as well as a female passenger were transported to the hospital with injuries that did not pose a threat to their lives. According to the preliminary findings of an investigation conducted by the Indiana State Police, the van was traveling in the other direction of traffic on US 35 when it crossed the center line and entered the path of the Focus that was driven by Starkey. The inquiry into the crash is still ongoing.
During the preliminary inquiry, a section of US Highway 35 located south of Mount Pleasant was closed for almost four hours.
