Terry Lewis Obituary, Death – A profound feeling of sorrow has been left in our family as a result of the death of our nephew Terry “Bubba” Lewis. Sister Janis Jackson, Bubba’s mother-in-law, along with Bubba’s Aunt Sister Sandy Windham and Bubba’s Aunt Sister Bonita Trotter are all members of Bubba’s extended family that go to Highway 5 Church. In the familiar surroundings of the Pembroke Regional Hospital, where she had been a patient, she passed away on the 21st of February, 2023, at the age of 72 years old. Terry Lewis, who resided in Pembroke, was the devoted spouse of Juliet Lewis (née Edwards), who predeceased him, and he was also the husband of the late Judy Lewis, whom he had married in a previous marriage (nee Donohoe). Honored and adored father of Michael Lewis (Lisa), who resides in Toronto, and Cathy Lewis, who just passed away.
A devoted grandfather of Joshua Lewis of Toronto, Abby Schonnop of Oshawa, Zac Schonnop of Pembroke, Carlie Springer of Pembroke, and Ivory Springer of Windsor, as well as a great-grandfather to Aiden and Ivory Springer. The man who would become Tami Lynn Edwards’ biological father was actually her stepfather. devoted brother of Mark Lewis, Ellen Lucas Landreau (Tommy), and Dawn Lewis Landreau (the late Eric), who passed away (Susan). Cecil Lewis was the son of Olga (née Pelky) Lewis, who has since passed away.
At the Murphy Funeral Home in Pembroke, situated at 296 Isabella Street, visitation will begin on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the time of the funeral ceremony in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on that same day. During this difficult time, Terry’s friends are encouraged to get together with his family and talk about their favorite memories of Terry. The funeral and burial are scheduled to take place at a later date.
