Steven Rife Obituary, Death – He was featured in the 1985 version of Street & Smith’s Official High School Football Yearbook. This book was published in 1985. He went to Phoenixville Area High School and graduated at the top of his class in 1984, earning the title of valedictorian. As a consequence of a senate appointment, Stephen was able to attend the United States Naval Academy, where he held the positions of Brigade Adjutant during the last semester of his senior year and Squad Commander during the summer of his first year as a Plebe.
Because he was one of just seven midshipmen out of a total of 4,500 in the brigade to be chosen as a Trident Scholar, he was given the opportunity to engage in self-directed research and learning throughout his senior year. ” This was the study’s working title. In 1988, he graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He had a grade point average of 3.9 during his time there, which earned him the honor of being the academy’s salutatorian. He not only came in second place in his class, but he also won multiple prizes and was selected for a Navy Burke Scholarship. This scholarship gives ten graduates from each class the opportunity to receive funding to pursue a master’s degree in science or engineering. In addition to coming in second place in his class, he won multiple prizes. Stephen came to the conclusion that the most productive course of action would be to instead go toward the objective of becoming a surface warfare officer who is qualified in nuclear power.
