Steve Bisheff Obituary, Death – After a lengthy and fruitful career as a journalist and columnist in Southern California that lasted for 42 years, Steve Bisheff passed away on March 22. His work spanned the region. His career was both extensive and successful in its entirety. His career had been extraordinarily successful up until that point.

In 2006, he made the decision to retire and to give up his position at the Registry as a result of this decision. He penned a vast array of novels and other types of literary works throughout his lifetime. Because Bisheff covered UCLA basketball for the Herald-Examiner, he was able to become familiar with John Wooden, the legendary coach of the Bruins. After then, John Wooden ended up becoming one of Bisheff’s favorite subjects to write about in his books.

He was 81. Bisheff’s writing experience includes stints at the San Diego Union-Tribune and the Los Angeles Herald Examiner; prior to joining the Orange County Register as a sports correspondent, he worked at both of those newspapers as a writer.
