Sean Clarke Obituary, Death – The ladies of Mohill are in a state of profound sadness as a result of the news that Sean Clarke has passed away. It is challenging to accurately convey the impact that Sean has had on the women in Mohill thanks to the limitations of language. From the very beginning, Sean was one of our early sponsors and he was also one of our most substantial sponsors.
He sponsored our adult and youth teams in a variety of ways, providing us with things like lunches, jerseys, and a lot more besides. In addition to players from Leitrim, he recruited a large number of players from Mohill, Gortletteragh, and Cloone, and he always arranged the rotation so that it would take into account upcoming matches and training sessions.
He paid close attention to the games that were being played by the ladies, and he was there after each game to offer constructive criticism and practical support to the individuals who had taken part in the competition. Mohill LGFA will never forget the enjoyable moments they had at Clarkes Hotel celebrating Sean’s victories, and they plan to do so for the rest of their lives. We are not going to be able to forget his kindness and generosity toward other people.
A true gentleman in every sense of the word, may the closing hours of his life be filled with serenity and comfort for him. Our deepest condolences go out to Sean’s son Darren, his daughter in law Amy, his sister Eileen, his brother Seamus, his companion Anella, and the rest of Sean’s extended family, as well as his huge and close-knit group of friends. We will miss Sean dearly.
