Scott Stewart Obituary, Death – Kimberly Stewart’s beloved husband, Scott Stewart, who had been battling cancer for two years, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Hartford Hospital after a long and courageous battle. He was the son of the late Andrew Stewart and Peggy (Dupre) Stewart and had resided in North Granby for a good portion of his life. He was born on February 1, 1967 in Medfield, Massachusetts.

He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Northeastern University and his Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He graduated from Simsbury High School and went on to receive his degrees from Northeastern University and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. During his time at McCoy and McCoy, he served as the firm’s Senior Civil Litigation Trial Attorney in addition to his other responsibilities as an attorney. Scott’s favorite activity, aside from spending time with his family, was golf, and he really liked to attend his children’s sporting events and other activities.

He is survived by his beloved children, Natalie and Cameron Stewart, who live in North Granby; his siblings, Bill Stewart and his wife Joanie of Boylston, Massachusetts, Leslie Kane of Winsted, Sandy Norcross of Cornelius, North Carolina, and Donna Moser of Salem, Oregon; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife of 21 years, he was married to her for the past 21 years.
