Arnold’s son Anthony Raven, his sisters-in-law Sharon Raven, Cathy Raven, and Linda Raven, and his brothers-in-law Malcolm Cripps and Wayne Travis all passed away before him. Arnold’s parents were also among those who preceded him in death. Arnold was a dedicated worker and a fantastic provider for his family. He shone with happiness whenever he was among his grandchildren since he was so proud of his children and grandchildren.

While he was a young teenager, he would spend his time exploring the woods, which would later become his profession and his lifetime passion. While working on a farm in Ontario picking potatoes and tobacco while he was in his late teens, he learnt how to farm. After working in the forestry industry for Years and eventually becoming the owner and operator of his own family business, Raven Enterprises, his career eventually brought him full circle to the sector.

Arnold always looked forward to going to Prince Edward Island with Charlotte during the summer and spending time at the trailer that was located by the water. He played golf frequently and was a big fan of watching sports, especially his beloved Toronto Blue Jays. In his later years, Arnold enjoyed coming to “JJ’s” or “All Seasons” for breakfast, watching the trucks go into and out of the mill, and watching the deer at night. He also liked seeing the trucks pull in and out of the mill.
