Nicholas Webber Obituary, Death – On Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the age of 93, Lou Martin, who resided on Burleson Road in Plumtree, passed away at her home. At this moment, the arrangements are not yet complete; however, an announcement will be made once all of the necessary steps have been taken to finish them. Nicholas Lloyd Webber, the eldest son of composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, was a musician in his own right. He wrote music for a number of television commercials and dramas, notably BBC 1’s “Love, Lies and Records.”
In addition to licensing his work for use in Control Z, Monarca, and Grey’s Anatomy, he contributed music to the eighth episode of the iconic documentary series directed by Michael Apted, which was titled 56 Up. In 2016, Mr. Lloyd Webber composed the music for a theatrical production of The Little Prince as well as a symphonic arrangement of the work, both of which have had successful performances in Belfast, Calgary, and Abu Dhabi respectively. The pandemic of COVID-19 cut short the most recent engagement of his musical Fat Friends, which he co-wrote with Kay Mellor and which was based on the ITV series of the same name. Fat Friends has had numerous successful tours of the UK. In the year 2022, Ms. Mellor passed away.
As a music producer, Andrew Lloyd Webber was responsible for the mixing of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Symphonic Suites for the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Additionally, Mr. Lloyd Webber co-produced and mixed the initial concept album for Cinderella, which in the United States was released under the name Bad Cinderella. The Last Bus, a feature film directed by Gillies MacKinnon and starring Timothy Spall and Phyllis Logan, was Mr. Lloyd Webber’s final public project.
