Nancy Maynard Obituary, Death – I am sorry to inform you that a former member of our Board of Directors passed away not too long ago. He or she was a member of our board in the past. Someone like that was essential to the success of our business. It is with a heavy heart that I have to be the one to break this disappointing news to you. (I didn’t mean to read the obituary, but I ended up doing so by accident, and it made me feel absolutely dreadful to find that she had gone away on March 21.)
Because Nancy Maynard was a never-ending source of enthusiasm and excitement, working with her during board meetings and other volunteer events was a joy. This was especially true for those events in which she participated. She was an attractive woman who worked in both marketing and administration, and as a result, every citizen of Fitchburg knew who she was and what she did. This was due to the fact that she maintained careers in each of these areas at the same time.
When I went to see her a few months ago, she was sick, but her kind and polite approach was still very much there. This was in spite of the fact that she was in a lot of pain. She continued to exhibit a sizeable portion of her original personality in spite of the condition she was in. I am thankful to her for all the aid that she has provided for us, and I am thankful to each and every one of you out there who have been visiting and assisting us recently; we are privileged to have you.
I am grateful to her for all the assistance that she has provided for us. I would like to express my appreciation to her for all of the help that she has given to both of us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for the assistance that she has provided to the two of us on multiple occasions. Thank you.
