Morgan Dunn Obituary, Death – Morgan Dunn has died. Her maternal grandparents, Charles and Ollie Trahan, as well as her paternal grandparents, G.A. Gaboon and Matilde Trahan, and her paternal great-grandmother, Gloria Griggs, all died before she was born. Her paternal great-grandmother was also named Gloria Griggs. Charles and Ollie Trahan were her grandmother and grandfather, respectively.
Her father, Robert Louis Trahan, was the family member who went away first. He was the first family member. He was the very first of her family’s ancestors. Morgan is survived by her mother, Carol Ann Trahan; her sister, Maline Trahan Rees and her husband Stephen Rees, MD, along with their children Libby, Stevie, Mac, and Morgan; her brother, Robert Louis Trahan Jr. and his wife Kirsten Halls Trahan, along with their children Miles and Madeleine; and her sister, Andree Nur.
Her father, Robert Louis Trahan Sr., and his wife, Kirsten Halls Trahan, also survived her. All of these individuals currently reside in the city of Hammond, Louisiana. Morgan was born in Hammond, Louisiana. Both the University of Louisiana in Lafayette in 1988 and the Southern University Law Center in 1993 awarded Morgan a degree in their respective fields. She spent a significant portion of her career serving the 21st Judicial District as an Assistant District Attorney.
