Mike Day Obituary, Death – Yesterday evening, I was given the tragic news that my good friend and fellow player, Mike Day, had taken his own life. Because Mike was a warrior among warriors, it is even more difficult to accept the fact that he has passed away after a life well lived. A number of years ago, JT Frank and I were given the opportunity to conduct an interview with Mike for our podcast. I will always remember Mike as a loving and amusing dad, a modest fighter, and an excellent comrade. This is how I will remember him.
Within the past several months, this is the third Navy SEAL who has come to the conclusion that this is the only way for him to escape the pain. My heart hurts not only for them, but also for their families and for our tight-knit community. There is a significant need for us to improve our ability to look after our brothers. The Navy Seal family is experiencing a difficult day today. Mike was a fantastic individual, one of the best there ever was. Do some research on him if you’re not familiar with his name.
Throughout the course of the battle, he was shot 27 times but continued to fight. According to all accounts, he was a hero and a legend. He was there for so many people whenever they needed someone to listen, but we, for some reason, failed to notice that he needed someone to listen to him. May Mike Day finally rest in peace. I send you my deepest love and respect. I will say prayers for you, your loved ones, and your friends. You will unquestionably be in our thoughts and prayers.
