Mary Sweet Obituary, Death – On September 2, 1937, she was born in the city of Madison, which is located in the state of Wisconsin. Her parents were named George Gerothanas and Jenny (Fotes) Gerothanas, and she was named after her mother. She was the only child that the couple shared as a family unit with one another. Mary attended Central High School in Madison, Wisconsin, where she obtained her diploma after completing the requirements for her high school education.
Mary’s first walk down the aisle was with Earl Goodwin, and subsequently, she wed Douglas Sweet. Douglas Sweet was her second husband. Her second husband was a man named Douglas Sweet. Since Mary was already working at the Medina Nursing Center, she volunteered to take on the role of a nurse’s assistant in addition to her regular duties. She made herself available to people who were patients and offered assistance.
Mary was an engaged and devoted member of the Greek Orthodox Church throughout the entirety of the time that she was in Madison, Wisconsin. Her time there was spent there.
