Mary Archer Obituary, Mary Archer Has Sadly Passed Away – Death Cause

Mary Archer Obituary, Death – Mary Archer Birmingham, who was 84 years old and had been battling an illness for only a little period of time, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018, in the comforting environment of her own home after a brief bout of treatment.

She spent her last moments surrounded by individuals who loved her and would miss her terribly after she passed away. Following thirty years of committed service to the organization, Mary took the decision to resign her position in the Civil Service and retire. She counted knitting and crocheting among her all-time favorite hobbies, and she would engage in any of those activities whenever she had some free time on her hands.

Her death was preceded by the passing of all of her family members, including her siblings Cordie Hargrove, Susan Coffell, Mildred Wilson, Margaret Archer, and Helen Wright, as well as her brothers George Archer, David Archer, and William Archer. Her parents Henry and Martha Archer, along with her husband William Howard Birmingham, Sr., all left before she did.

Her husband also left before she did. She was the only member of her family to have lived to an old age. She was the only member of her immediate family to have been successful up to this point. Her other family had all passed away by that point.

Surviving family members include a sister named Betty Bersherse from Toney; daughters Gloria Birmingham, Joy Drummond, and Valeri Drummond (Andy), all of Huntsville; a son named William H. Birmingham, Jr. (Jill), of Anderson, South Carolina; grandchildren Jennifer Drummond and David Drummond (Andrea) of Huntsville; Tyler, Chloe, and Quinn Birmingham of Anderson, South Carolina; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
