Martin Infante Obituary, Death – Because of the work of the California Highway Patrol, the identity of the individual who was behind the wheel of one of the vehicles that was involved in the collision that took place late on Friday night east of Oxnard has been determined. The collision took place in the area of Oxnard. The collision occurred in the afternoon on Friday of that week. It was only a few minutes after 10:30 p.m. on that particular evening when the incident occurred on Fifth Street, which is located to the west of Wolff Road. The time was that particular evening.
Martin Cono Infante, 33, of Oxnard was apparently driving eastbound on Fifth Street in a Volvo S60 sedan when he crossed over the solid double yellow lines and entered the westbound lane for reasons that are still being investigated by the CHP. The incident occurred when Martin Cono Infante entered the westbound lane after passing over the solid double yellow lines. Here is the spot where he was involved in a collision with the front of a GMC Sierra pickup truck that was going westbound on Fifth Street. The truck was traveling westbound on Fifth Street. Infante was sent to a hospital in the area to receive treatment for his injuries, which were considered to be life-threatening. The inquiry into the accident has not yet resulted in the formation of a conclusive opinion.
Infante was executed by having a cut made in his throat while he was still alive. A woman from Oxnard who was driving a pickup vehicle at the time of the collision and who got a minor injury as a result of the collision was transported to the hospital for treatment of her injury.
