Marcus Dent Obituary, Death – On March 25, 2023, Marcus Emmett Dent, Sr. passed away and was received into heaven. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on September 28, 1968, and is the cherished son of Monica (née Snyder) Dent and the late Robert Dent. After completing his high school education at North Catholic in 1986, he continued his education at Temple University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Finance degree. While he was attending Temple University, he fell in love with the woman who would become his wife, Brigitte (née Jordan), and the two started a family together.
He was a devoted husband for 32 years, cherished father to Marcus Emmett Dent, Jr. (Rachel), Connor Gerard Dent and Avery Elizabeth Dent, doting Bucky to his two grandsons Marcus Emmett Dent III and Kelly Michael Dent, dear brother to Matthew Dent (Theresa), deeply loved brother-in-law and uncle, and friend to countless. Everyone who knew and loved him will grieve his passing in their own unique ways. Before making the decision to pursue his passion for coffee and his local community, Marc had already achieved a great deal of success in the asset management sector over the course of two and a half decades through the hard work and devotion he had shown in that field.
In the year 2020, Marc helped to establish and launch a coffee shop called “House Cup Coffee Café.” The Havertown neighborhood has swiftly embraced the cafe as a go-to hangout spot because to its welcoming atmosphere. When Marc wasn’t working, his favorite thing to do was spend time with his loved ones, including his wife and children, as well as his friends and neighbors. He was the consummate life of the party and has a remarkable capacity to put a smile on the faces of all those who were fortunate enough to be in his company. Especially in situations where he was able to seize (or create) the chance to deliver a passionate speech or prepare an amazing supper for his family and friends.
