Les Nowland Obituary, Death – Les had already gained the age of 99 when he passed away, and had he lived for just one more month after that, he would have turned 100 years old, making him the oldest person to have ever lived. Les did not make it to see his 100th birthday, so he was unable to enjoy it with his family and friends. His extraordinary dedication to our community and the time he took to get to know each and every one of us is something that we will all miss very much. He took the time to get to know each and every one of us. He invested the effort to become familiar with each and every one of us. He made the effort to become familiar with each one of us, and we all appreciated that. Rest in peace.
We must inform you with profound sorrow of the demise of Mr. Les Nowland, who had previously served in the AFSM. It is with our deepest condolences that we do so. When he left, he was a member of our team here at the organization. We never stop thinking about you or praying for you. Please know that. Not only did Les volunteer for the Royal Fire Service (RFS), but he also volunteered for the State Emergency Service (SES) and a number of other community organizations. Les served as a volunteer for both of these organizations.
Volunteer work was something that Les did for both of these organizations. Aside from that, Les was active in the community by performing volunteer work for a wide range of different organizations. At the time that Les served in the military, our country and our town were facing challenging times, and he was there to provide a helping hand to both of them. Les was there for you anytime you needed his aid and was always prepared to provide it for you. He was always available.
