Lenny McGrego Obituary, Lenny McGrego Has Passed Away – Death Cause

Lenny McGrego Obituary, Death – The family of James Hughes, who passed away recently, has asked us to inform you of his passing and to let you know about the planned burial preparations. This is something that we do with a heavy heart. You are welcome to do so. The tragic news that a fantastic member of our club passed away today has left all of us in a state of shock.
From the time it was known as the East Reservoir YCW until it moved to its current location in Keon Park, Lenny McGregor was an essential component of the club.

In addition to being an outstanding player, Lenny was a fantastic clubman and a magnificent bloke. He played in well over 250 games for the club and won premierships, the captaincy, life membership, the competition, and club best and fairest awards. Lenny was also honored as the competition’s best and fairest player. After joining the newly reestablished Keon Park Football and Netball Club the previous year, Lenny was beyond pleased to be given his cap and stubby holder as a welcome gift. For a very long time, he had been anticipating and hoping for this moment to arrive.

We would like to express our love and support to Colleen, Ant, Renee, Ash, and Corey, as well as to their respective families. This message is being sent on behalf of the Smith Family.
Our netball players will be wearing black armbands tonight as a sign of respect to Lenny and the McGregor/Smith Clan and to convey to each of these individuals how much we consider them to be a part of the Keon Park family. Tonight’s game is being played in honor of Lenny and the McGregor/Smith Clan and will begin at 7:00 PM. If you have the opportunity, please raise your glass tonight in memory of Lenny and all of our other heroes who have passed away in the past. RIP Lenn
