Kenneth Boyd Obituary, Death – Kenneth John Boyd (Kenny), 62, passed away on March 30, 2023 at the Harrisburg Hospital. He was a resident of Harrisburg. On November 14, 1960, in Hackensack, New Jersey, Kenny Boyd was born to his parents, George W. and Angelina M. Boyd. Kenny has a background in the workforce that includes time spent at Goodwill Industries and attendance at Red Land and Lower Dauphin High Schools.
He spent several years as a resident at the Paxton Street Residence, and throughout that time he made a lot of friends there. He had a positive experience with the caregivers, outings, activities, and overall caring care he received there. In particular, one of his favorite things to do was to take his Walkman out onto the porch and listen to CDs.
Kenny cherished his time spent with his family and had a deep and abiding passion for both music and animals. He was friendly, considerate, and hilarious, and he had a lot of friends. He delighted in assisting those in need, travelling to the beach, participating in religious activities, and, above all else, spending time with his family.
His father, George W. Boyd, and his mother, Angelina M. Boyd, as well as his brothers Thomas R. Boyd, Joseph W. Boyd, Frank Milone, and Arthur Milone, all passed away before he was born. He is survived by his sister Linda M. Sullivan (husband Daniel) of Carlisle, his sister Theresa Belowsky of Florida, his sister RoseAnn Milone of New Jersey, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives. His sister Theresa Belowsky lives in Florida.
The family of Kenny would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and doctors who worked in the intensive care unit (ICU) on floors 7 and 10 of Harrisburg Hospital for the outstanding care that they provided during the most difficult month of Kenny’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Paxton Ministries, located at 2001 Paxton Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17111.
