Judith Ableidinger Death, Obituary – Judith Ann Ableidinger, who was 81 years old when she passed away, passed away in a calm and serene manner on March 24, 2023. At the time of her passing, she was a resident at Cedar Hill Assisted Living in Bark River, Michigan, where she had been living since the previous year. Judy Dekett was introduced to the world on February 6, 1942, in the city of Alpena, in the state of Michigan. Her father, Norman Dekett, and her mother, Tillie (Doane) Dekett, have both passed away in the time that has passed since that event. She married Richard Ableidinger in August 1964.
The only surviving members of her family are her daughter Sarah (William) Newhouse, her sister Linda Klemens, and her grandkids Elly and Lily Newhouse. Only Sarah (William) Newhouse remained of her family after her father’s death. Her husband Richard, along with her three brothers Charlie (Joy), Robert, and Gordon Dekett, all passed away before she did. Her death came as a surprise to everyone. Richard, her spouse, passed away first as well. She did not survive the ordeal despite her best efforts.
Judy started her professional life at the Alpena Savings bank and ended it at the MyMichigan Medical Center, where she worked for a significant amount of time before deciding to hang it up and retire. Judy was a devoted follower of the Community of Christ Church, which she visited frequently, in addition to her leadership responsibilities and volunteer work with the Girl Scouts. She also served as a troop leader. In addition to that, she was quite involved in the Girl Scouts as a member of the leadership. Judy delighted in the fact that she was able to put a smile on the faces of the many young people who visited her booth at the numerous craft fairs in which she participated. This brought her a great deal of satisfaction.
