John Clay Obituary, Death – My heartfelt condolences go out to Frank, Alice, Bobby, Chuck, and Franky, as well as the rest of Frank’s family and friends. I am truly sorry for your loss. When you were seven years old, Bob was your coach on the Mini Stallions. Through the years, we saw you compete, and you were always very good at what you did. You eventually became an adult and contributed back to the community by mentoring younger children, a role in which you excelled.
Your team members had faith in you and looked up to you as a role model. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve passed away, but I have no doubt that your coaches will be there to see you off when you arrive in the hereafter. After Bob crossed over, I really appreciate it when you called to see how I was doing. Rest in peace, John Clay, and we are grateful for the time and energy you devoted to the children and young people in our community.
The news that my close friend John Clay has passed away has struck me with a profound sense of sorrow. Since we were both in kindergarten, we had been friends. Oh, the good times we had, the mischief we got into, the classes we skipped, the pool parties we went to, the games of Release we played with all of our friends from the neighborhood, and some of the times that stick out the most to me are the ones in which we would simply lie down in a yard (typically Shannon’s because of that gorgeous plum tree haha) and talk.
I will never forget those times. When we would play games with all of our friends in the neighborhood, it was one of the other occasions that I looked forward to the most. Recently, I was in that part of the country, and I’m overjoyed that we were able to connect and have a good time together when I was there. If you happen to run into my other wonderful friend, Chris Small, I would be really grateful if you could give him a bear hug on my behalf. I promise that I will never forget how much of an impact you have had on my life as a good friend. God rest your soul
