Jeff Smith Obituary, Death – Smith, who resided in Allentown and was 66 years old at the time of his death on March 11, 2023, passed away. When he passed away, he was the loving partner of his wife, Jean (Fisher) Smith, to whom he had been married for more than 38 years at the time of his passing. His father, Edward C. Smith, and his granddaughter, Hope Schimeneck, both went away before he was born in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
He was the last surviving member of his family. Evonik, Inc. is no longer Jeff’s place of employment. In his free time, he liked to spend it in Eagles Mere, Pennsylvania, with his family and friends, engaging in activities like as fishing and hunting. For a good number of years, he served on the church council at Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, where he was a member. In addition to his devoted wife Jean, he is survived by his mother, Elva (Welliver) Smith, and his sister, Pam Hobson, both of Allentown; his daughters Cherie (Schimeneck).
Barreca and Stacey (Schimeneck) Wenner, wife of James; his son Robert Schimeneck and his wife MaryBeth; and his grandchildren Cherie, Stacey, and James. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Schimen (Egge). There are five people who are regarded to be grandchildren; their names are Damon Barreca, Lily, Hana, and Luke Schimeneck, and Caitlyn Wenner.
Scheduled to take place on the Wednesday, March 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church in Allentown, PA, which can be found at 535 W. Emaus Avenue.
