Jason Oxsen Obituary, Death – Unfortunately, Jason Oxsen passed away shortly after retiring from Therm-O-Disc, where he had spent many years working in the maintenance department. Jake was also a member of the Bellville AMVETS Post #43, which was located in Bellville. Jake was passionate about maintaining and restoring sprint cars in his leisure time. At all of his grandchildren’s sporting games, Jake was consistently seen cheering for them and rooting for them to do well. Jake exuded a positive and uplifting energy.

It was Jason Oxsen. You were one of the first persons I started playing disc golf with in a competitive setting. Together, we had many memorable bouts for the punisher and the squash! You were a close friend to many people, including myself, including many others.
You were an outstanding leader and a true Ambassador for the sport of disc golf! In my opinion, you are a true Icon! Brotha, Keep Your Head Up!

208 Discs will continue to exist as part of your Legacy. Jake was a devout Christian who was actively involved in the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. The love that he had for his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will be the thing that people remember most about him since he was the pillar of support and the cornerstone of his family.
