James Caris Obituary, Death – We are passing on the news of the passing of our Chaplain Pastor James C. Caris with heavy hearts as we share this news with you. He volunteered his time with the North Point – Edgemere Fire Department for a good number of years. Chaplain Caris has been like a member of the family ever since she joined us in 2012, and she is always willing to provide a helping hand.
Chaplain Caris was more than just our chaplain; he was a role model, a confidant, and most importantly, a friend to each and every one of us. Chaplain Caris will be much missed. Even though he was our chaplain, Chaplain Caris was so much more than that. Chaplain Caris was also a member of the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighters Association before he became ill. Until he became ill, he served as the Chaplain for that organization, a post he held until he became ill.
While serving as the Pastor of a local church, where he was held in such high esteem by a large number of people who reside in our town, Chaplain Caris was well known and respected across our community. In addition to being a dedicated husband and father, he served his country with distinction during his time in the military. We want you to know that we love you, Pastor Jim, also known as Prayer Guy, and that a lot of people will miss having you around in their lives in the future. We ask that you keep Chaplain Caris, his family and friends, as well as our departments, in your thoughts and prayers at this time of grief. We appreciate your consideration.
