Isiaih Woodland Death, Obituary – After receiving information that shots had been fired in the parking lot of the Big Dogs in Paradise pub in Mechanicsville at approximately 1:15 in the morning on Friday, deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene in Mechanicsville. The pub in question was named Big Dogs in Paradise. According to the complaint, there were gunshots heard coming from the direction of the pub’s parking lot.
The incidence took occurred in the immediate minutes leading up to the beginning of the day. The information that was provided during the call gave the impression that the bar’s parking lot was the location of the active gunfire that was taking on. Isiaih Alexander Woodland, age 18, a resident of Lexington Park, was discovered dead in the area with gunshot wounds. His body was recovered nearby.
The victim was able to be recognized by the police. Because of the injuries he sustained, he did not survive.
