Guillermo Huerta Obituary, Death – The person who was shot and killed on March 18 in the south Bakersfield region as the result of an officer-involved shooting has been identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office. The incident occurred as a result of an altercation between two individuals. An altercation between a law enforcement officer and the victim led to the occurrence that occurred as a result of the altercation.
Bakersfield was Guillermo Padron Huerta’s home for the majority of his life. It was found, following additional inquiry, that he had passed away at the scene of the incident. Huerta was moved to Kern Medical for treatment, but he did not do well during the course of care he received there and ultimately passed away.
The victim ultimately succumbed to their injuries and passed died as a direct result of the occurrence. According to the office of the coroner, Bakersfield resident Guillermo Padron Huerta, 35, was reportedly shot and murdered on White Lane near Monitor Street at approximately 10:52 p.m. on the night in question.
Unfortunately, he had to go his separate way. An investigation into the matter was launched when the authorities received word that a man on White Lane was in possession of a knife. These officials were sent to the location in question in order to carry out their duties investigating the matter.
Huerta was the target of their gunfire. Huerta ended up getting murdered. Officers from the Bakersfield Police Department arrived to the site after receiving the call and located Huerta on the 900 block of White Lane. Huerta was taken into custody without incident.
