Gordy LaForce Obituary, Death Cause – It is with deep regret that we must be the ones to inform each and every one of you that Gordy LaForce has passed away. To each of you, please accept our deepest sympathies. When Gordy signed up to be a volunteer with the Sea Breeze Fire District more than sixty years ago, he was given the opportunity to begin his career in the fire service.
During this difficult time, his family as well as each and every member of the Sea Breeze Fire District as well as our Association are in our thoughts and prayers. Also included in these thoughts and prayers is the Sea Breeze Firefighters Association. The Sea Breeze Volunteer Firefighters Association is considered a part of this larger organisation as well.
He was one of the original members of our first aid team, and it was in large part due to his contributions that we were finally able to buy our ambulance. In the year 2020, Gordy was recognized for his contributions to the community by being given the title of Honorary Chief. At that point in time, he had not yet retired from his position with the Fire Police Department.
