Fatal Car Accident, Obituary, Death – On Monday afternoon, there was a collision that took place on the Florida Turnpike, not too far from Fort Pierce. This incident involved five cars and a tractor-trailer, and it occurred on the turnpike. The tragedy resulted in the death of one individual and the injury or illness of a substantial number of other people. This happened not too long after 12:30 in the afternoon, somewhere in the general neighborhood of mile marker 163, and the mile marker number was 163.
A continuing event has caused the closure of all lanes leading in either direction, thus traffic cannot move in either direction. The section of the Turnpike that is located close to the E152 exit has been shut down by the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, and mainline traffic is being rerouted to avoid the E152 exit.
