Erick Boden Death, Obituary – Hey, ’87. Erick Boden, our amazing friend and fellow student, went away not too long ago. I’m sorry to be the one to break the news to you, but he passed away not too long ago. I’m sorry that I’m the one who has to be the one to tell you the news. Because we do not have any other choice than to proceed in this manner, I am seized with an overpowering sense of regret about our situation.

This morning, devastating news about Erick’s death was shared on Facebook by Chris Berry, who was a classmate of Erick’s at Long Beach High School and a close friend. Chris and Erick have known one another for a very long time and are very familiar with one another. When it came to being a friend, Erick regarded Chris as someone worthy of a great deal of respect.
We had the wonderful fortune to spend a lot of enjoyable times with Erick, and up until a few years ago, we maintained a consistent relationship with one another by staying in touch with one another through various forms of communication.

We will never forget how thankful we are for the time we were able to spend together. Despite the fact that both Erick and we remained to call Humboldt our home after we graduated from high school, we had the good fortune to have many enjoyable experiences with Erick. We are grateful that these opportunities have presented themselves. His observations on the peculiar occurrences that took place on Mr. Wilk’s field trips never failed to make us chuckle, and he had nothing but kind words to say about the Class of 1987. My deepest sympathies, love, and prayers are with the Boden family as we say a heartbreaking goodbye to a wonderful person whose bright spirit was taken from this world much too soon.
