Elisabeth Tubbs Obituary, 84 Years Old Elisabeth Tubbs Has Passed Away – Death Cause
Elisabeth Tubbs Obituary, Death – Elisabeth Ann “Becky” Tubbs, who was 84 years old, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, March 31, 2023, in the Swiss Village located in Berne, Indiana. She called the town of Berne in Indiana her home. She was born on March 25, 1939 in Hudson, Indiana, and she was the daughter of the late Arden Tubbs and the late Geraldine (Johnson) Tubbs.
Both of her parents had passed away previously. Her mother and father had both passed away at this point. Becky had been a member of the Ashley Hudson Church of the Nazarene for a considerable amount of time, and she was also a member of the Berne Church of the Nazarene at the moment in addition to being a member of the Ashley Hudson Church of the Nazarene.
After completing her education at Salem Center High School and graduating in 1957, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Olivet Nazarene College, and then a Master of Arts degree from St. Francis University. Both of these degrees are in the field of art. Becky began her career as an educator by working in a variety of primary schools, where she was responsible for teaching pupils of varying ages.
After then, she devotedly worked as a Missionary in the country of Swaziland, which is located in Africa, for a total of seven years. After Becky’s passing, she is survived by a number of people, including her brothers David Tubbs of Hudson, Indiana, Philip Tubbs and his wife, Norma, of Munster, Indiana, and Paul Tubbs and his wife, Lue, of Berne, Indiana, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews.
Paul Tubbs and his wife, Lue, also reside in Berne, Indiana. Grace Tubbs, who was the sister of her brother’s wife and had preceded her in death, has passed away. A funeral ceremony will be held at First Church of the Nazarene in Berne, Indiana at ten in the morning on Thursday, April 6, 2023. The event will be held in memory of the deceased. Matthew Phillips, a Pastor, will serve as the officiant for the event.
On Thursday, prior to the start of the funeral services, the family will host a gathering in the church for friends and family beginning at 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the gravesite on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. The cemetery is located in Hudson, Indiana, and its name is Circle Cemetery.
