Edith Steeves Death, Obituary – Edith Augusta Steeves unexpectedly passed away at the Moncton Hospital on March 26, 2023, just a few days before she would have turned 93 years old. Her death came as a shock to everyone. Edith Steeves was born in Salem on the 30th of March in the year 1930. Arnold B. Steeves and Grace (Wallace) had both passed away before she was born. Her parents have both since passed away. Although she was employed by the T. Eaton Company for a short period of time.
The majority of her working life was spent working on the family farm. She was more than capable of holding her own in the hayfield and cherished the time she got to spend working on the farm. She attended the Salem Baptist Church throughout her entire childhood, which she spent in Salem, where she also spent her childhood. She entered into a relationship with Ellison Steeves, and the two of them went on to have a successful life together as a couple. They were blessed with a child, Norma.
Who quickly assumed the role of being the focal point of their entire world. Because Edith spent so much time in the kitchen as a result of her passion for baking and the amount of time she devoted to the activity, her home was always stocked with delectable treats whenever she had guests over. Her door was never locked, and she took great pleasure in hosting get-togethers at the farm for both her large circle of friends and her immediate family.
Since Edith and Ellison both had a strong interest in going to different parts of the world, they decided to make the most of their time together by traveling to a number of different cities and towns in both the United States and Canada. In addition to that, playing card games and hosting card parties for her friends was another one of Edith’s many interests. Edith possessed a hilarious sense of humor and was constantly on the lookout for a good laugh. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
And she maintained a very special bond with her daughter throughout their lives together. Throughout their lives together, they shared a very special connection. The love that is shared between a mother and her daughter is the kind of love that endures throughout their entire lives. Her cherished daughter, Norma Murphy (Joe), of Riverview, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jill and Jonathan (Melissa), and her cherished great grandchildren, Cameron, Juliet, and Jazmine, will miss her in a way that is indescribable.
