Donald Westfall Missing – To say that we have been anticipating this for a considerable amount of time would be an understatement. We had faith that we would eventually find Donnie and be able to give him a burial that was befitting of his life, and that day has finally arrived. We would like to extend our appreciation to everyone in law enforcement who helped in the search for him, and in particular to detective Troy Fischer.
But there is no question in my mind that she and Donnie are both happy and that they are both in a better place now than they were before. Donnie, we want you to know that we love you and that it hurts our hearts that you had to leave this world so soon after you were taken from us. You need to be aware that you are free to relax at this point. Moving forward, we will be in charge of everything.
We want to thank the two hunters who discovered him we owe you so much more than a shout out, and we pray that one day we will be able to personally thank you and we want to thank everyone who has followed the case of Donnie’s disappearance online and helped keep his memory alive. In particular, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has worked to preserve Donnie’s memory. My aunt, who is also Donnie’s mother, is someone that we miss dearly, and we wish that she could have been with us to celebrate this momentous occasion with us.
