Donald Lynch Obituary, Donald Lynch Has Passed Away – Death Cause

Donald Lynch Obituary, Death – The passing of our much loved brother, Donald (Don) Gerard Lynch, took place in the Miramichi Regional Hospital on March 28, 2023. It is with a heavy heart that we share this news with you. He was 69. Don Lynch was the son of Gordon and Shirley Lynch. He was the brother of Pauline Lynch of Rothesay, New Brunswick, Patricia (Paul) Broemeling of a Westfield, New Brunswick, and Lee (Debbie) Lynch of Edmonton, Alberta.

Don was also the father of adopted son Stephane Lynch (Helene) of Quebec and the grandfather of Felix, Alexandre, and Marianne. Don passed away in 1979. He enjoyed close relationships with all of his nieces and nephews, including Christopher, Colin, and Tara, as well as Kyle, Rebekah, and Ryan. In addition, he maintained close relationships with the aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins who were members of the Lynch and Gilliss families.

Don devoted his life to helping others, particularly young people, and was able to make a good difference in the lives of a great number of people thanks to his kindness, lack of selfishness, and unwavering resolve. His life journey did not follow a conventional pattern, but it was never lacking in loving relationships. That could not have gone any other way in his eyes. Don’s life was heavily influenced by his religious beliefs.

He was a fervent Catholic and went to Sunday mass as frequently as he could without fail. Throughout the years, he never missed a chance to show his support for family and friends by attending wakes and funerals with them. It was a dream come true for him to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem in 2017, and the experience helped him develop his faith even more. After graduating from the New Brunswick Teacher’s College in 1973, he launched a fruitful teaching career in Black’s Harbour, where he was responsible for instructing middle school students and coaching a variety of sports.
