Chad Scruggs Obituary, Death – The tragedies that strike closer to home are especially disturbing and depressing, despite the fact that each and every one of these catastrophes is shocking and awful in its own right. The recent passing of Chad Scruggs’ daughter, who was the minister at Covenant Presbyterian Church, is a shocking and heartbreaking event that has recently come to light. Because both of these things occurred to me during my time in middle school.
We feel bad for Pastor Chad because he not only has to come to terms with his own loss, but also with the loss of both his church and his school. Because of this, We have nothing but the deepest sympathy for Pastor Chad. I will be praying for you, Covenant, Kara Scruggs Arnold, Vicky Howell Graves, and each and every member of your family. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. In addition to that, we will be praying for Vicky Howell Graves. We find it extremely unsettling that We were forced to grow up with his sister Kara and that his mother was one of my teachers during that time. Both of these occurrences have a profoundly negative impact on my life. In addition to the parents, this tragedy has left an imprint on the children, staff, and church personnel who were impacted by it. My heart is torn and We are heartbroken for all of them.
