Bonnie Moses Obituary, Bonnie Moses Has Passed Away – Death Cause

Bonnie Moses Obituary, Death – When I found out that Ms. Bonnie Moses had passed away, it filled me with a great deal of sadness. For decades, Bonnie was a mainstay at the Oconee County courthouse in addition to being a political powerhouse in the county. She was an amazing friend, always full of life, and she had a significant impact. Her devoted family and the many friends she had will certainly miss her.

Bonnie Love Moses, age 85, of 67 Ballard Cove Road in Candler, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 16, 2001, from a health care facility in Asheville.
Mrs. Moses was the daughter of the late George W. McElrath and Charlotte Cogburn McElrath. She was born in Buncombe County, North Carolina. Juanita Moses and Imogene Dean, both of whom were her daughters, passed away before their mother. She was a participant in the Emma Gospel Tabernacle’s congregation.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Moses; seventeen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; three sons, James “Bud” Moses, Paul Moses, and Bill Moses, all of Candler; two sisters, Alice Ezelle of Raleigh and Vauda Clark of Candler; and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home located on Patton Avenue. The Reverend Eugene Dodd will preside over the ceremony. The burial will take place at the cemetery of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
