Bentley Mcbentleson Obituary, Death – Oh my my, where do I even begin… I am saddened to inform the Nerd Nite Louisville community and the Nerd Nite community as a whole of some devastating news. The tragic news is that co-host Bentley McBentleson has passed away. The news has completely taken me by surprise, as I’m sure it has all of you. Once I have more information on a service, I will, of course, pass it along to you if it is public.
On Thursday, April 27, we will be hosting our next Nerd Nite Louisville event, and I want that night to be one that commemorates him in some way. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, boyfriend, and friend to a large number of people. He was loved by so many. Without a doubt, Bentley was a kind and generous giant. At Four Pegs Smokehouse and Tavern, I’m always up for a bear hug, a high five, a beer, and chicken wings served in an endless supply.
He loved KFC so much that he had previously worked at the company’s headquarters; he loved Nerd Nite Louisville; he loved hosting trivia at Shippingport Brewing Company and Spring Street Bar & Grill; he loved cycling and building bicycles; he loved making people feel welcomed, heard, and loved; he loved his pig and cats; he loved Louisville; he loved his family, girlfriend, and friends; he loved going on adventures; he loved film; he loved photography; Although there are many other things that he enjoyed and many other aspects to this AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL guy, these are the ones that come to mind right now as I type.
I’m overjoyed that I had the opportunity to get to know Bentley. I am certain that anybody who has ever talked to him has the same opinion. Please show your respect for Bentley by sharing any stories or images that you have with him below. 🙏🫶♥️ ( PS I just realized that both my first and last name were misspelled on his phone. Sorry about that! It is COMPLETELY Bentley.
