Alex Stables Obituary, Death – On Saturday, the 18th of March, Alex (Alec) Stables died away with his family by his side. He was a dedicated bowler throughout his life and was a part of the Newbattle Bowling Club. On Thursday, April 6 at three o’clock in the afternoon, the family will hold a memorial service to commemorate his life at the Mortonhall crematorium. Following the service, the family will host refreshments at the Newbattle Bowling Club.
Due to the fact that Alec was widely known and liked in the bowling community, the family would be more than happy to have anyone who wishes to attend and pay their respects.
Mary has been married to this devoted and loving spouse for 64 years. Respected and cherished father to Robin and Sabrina, whose respective partners are Lisa Stables and Dave O’Connor. Grandfather of Julian, Eamon, Sean, Avalon, and Madlen, and proud of all of them. Alec led a rich and eventful life.
He traveled the world with Mary by his side and worked in a variety of places across three continents. He had a lot of talent in the arts and gardening, and he was the epitome of a true gentleman. It will be very difficult to move on without him. In accordance with Alec’s last desires, there will be no funeral or memorial service held for him. He will be cremated. At a later time, we shall gather to celebrate his life. His family would like to express their gratitude to Drs.
